
Keftedes
Keftedes, or Greek meatballs, are a perfect meze dish and taste delicious with a bit of tzatziki.

Ingredients:
- 500 g mixed minced meat (pork and beef)
- 1 red onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley
- 2 tbsp fresh mint
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp flour
- Olive oil
Instructions:
- Peel and finely chop the onion. Peel and mince the garlic.
- Wash and finely chop the parsley and mint.
- Combine all ingredients except the olive oil in a large bowl and mix well by hand.
- Form the meat mixture into balls of about 4 cm in diameter. Chill in the fridge for 60 minutes.
- Remove from the fridge and roll the meatballs in flour. Shake off the excess.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the meatballs for about 10 minutes until cooked through.
