
Honey thyme butter
This butter is soft, lightly sweet and herby. Delicious with grilled corn, chicken, or simply on warm bread.
Yield: approx. 125 g butter
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 125 g unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 1 tablespoon liquid honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves, finely chopped
- Coarse sea salt to taste
Preparation
- Let the butter soften at room temperature.
- Remove the leaves from the thyme sprigs and chop finely.
- Mix the honey and chopped thyme into the butter until smooth.
- Season with coarse sea salt.
- Serve immediately or shape into a roll and chill in the fridge.
