Honey thyme butter

This butter is soft, lightly sweet and herby. Delicious with grilled corn, chicken, or simply on warm bread.

Yield: approx. 125 g butter
Preparation time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 125 g unsalted butter (at room temperature)
  • 1 tablespoon liquid honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves, finely chopped
  • Coarse sea salt to taste

Preparation

  1. Let the butter soften at room temperature.
  2. Remove the leaves from the thyme sprigs and chop finely.
  3. Mix the honey and chopped thyme into the butter until smooth.
  4. Season with coarse sea salt.
  5. Serve immediately or shape into a roll and chill in the fridge.
