Mint Sauce

This fresh mint sauce is easy to make and pairs perfectly with fish, pork, and lamb. It also goes wonderfully with warm or cold white rice.

Ingredients

  • 25 grams fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 25 ml white wine vinegar

Preparation

  • Wash the mint leaves and pat them dry.
  • Chop the mint leaves very finely.

Instructions

  1. Put the white wine vinegar and sugar in a small saucepan and heat over low heat.
  2. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved and turn off the heat as soon as the vinegar starts to boil.
  3. Add the finely chopped mint and let the sauce steep for 10 to 15 minutes.
