This smoothie with banana, orange, lime, mint and a hint of ginger powder is fresh, slightly spicy and wonderfully refreshing. Perfect for a sunny morning or as a healthy boost during the day.

Ingredients (serves 2)
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 oranges
- 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 6β8 fresh mint leaves
- 100 ml cold water or ice cubes
Preparation
- Juice the oranges and the lime.
- Peel the bananas and break them into chunks.
- Wash the mint leaves.
Method
- Put the citrus juice, bananas and cold water or ice cubes in a blender.
- Blend into a smooth, fresh smoothie.
- Add the ground ginger and mint leaves while blending.
- Taste and add more mint or a splash of water if the smoothie is too thick.
- Serve immediately, optionally garnished with a mint leaf.
