
Turkey Fillet in Lemon-Dill Marinade
This turkey fillet is delightfully fresh and herby thanks to a Mediterranean marinade of lemon, garlic and fresh dill. Perfect for the barbecue on summer days, but also easy to prepare in a grill pan.

Total time: approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 500 g turkey fillet
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon honey
- A few sprigs of fresh dill
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
Preparation
- Pick the dill leaves and chop finely.
- Peel and finely chop the garlic.
Instructions
- Squeeze the lemon juice into a bowl and mix with olive oil, garlic, honey, dill, salt and pepper.
- If needed, cut the turkey into 2–3 equally thick slices.
- Place the turkey in a dish and pour over the marinade. Marinate for at least 1 hour in the fridge (preferably 2–3 hours).
- Remove the meat from the fridge 15 minutes before cooking.
- Preheat the barbecue to medium heat.
- Grill the turkey for 5–6 minutes on each side, depending on thickness. Turn only once for nice grill marks.
