Red rice

Red rice has a natural reddish-brown colour and a firm texture. Its flavour is fuller and slightly nuttier than that of regular white rice. With its colour and character, red rice immediately gives simple dishes more depth and a rustic appearance.

In the kitchen, red rice can be used in salads, rice dishes, bowls, side dishes and recipes with vegetables, pulses, chicken, fish or herbs. Because the grains remain firm, red rice is also suitable for cooking in advance and using later cold or lukewarm.
